Young people have their say on the future protection of human rights in the UK

In July 2012, the Rights of the Child UK Coalition and the British Institute of Human Rights organised a special day of discussions for children and young people on the future of human rights in the UK.

Young people were able to tell Professor Philippe Sands QC, a member of the Commission on a UK Bill of Rights, exactly what they think the Commission should be telling the Government about human rights laws In the UK.

Their main message to the Commission is that the Government should keep the Human Rights Act.
